90s Mini Side Slit Dress PDF Pattern reviews

This was a nice pattern to use. I made two dresses with it, it was a bit of a bigger fit than I wanted so I ended up taking in the pattern quite a bit for the fit shown in photos. My measurements are B- 39.5, W- 29.5, and H - 40. For the denim dress I went with size XL, I still had to take it in a bit around the waist and hips. For the sequin dress I used L, but due to fabric having more give I also took in at waist and hips. But great pattern and easy enough to follow. It created a perfect base for these dresses. Thank you so much! I had been looking for a while for a woven dress pattern and this one was exactly what I wanted.

I found the sizing was off and I had to make a lot of changes to make the dress fit. The sew along video was helpful and the pattern was easy to print. I liked that you can separate the different sizes for printing

I haven't sewn it yet but I love that the instructions are super clear, especially on how to use adobe to separate the size of pattern you need. Seller messaged me immediately to see if I had any q's or concerns, will try to add a picture when I'm done with it.

Very cute pattern, super flattering fit. This was my first real sewing project and though I made many mistakes I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I'm usually a US 6 and the M size fit perfectly. My one complaint is I wish there was more guidance for beginners about how to finish the neckline/armhole hem - the instructions of just folding them over and sewing don't really work for fabric that isn't quite stretchy.

The pattern is great. Arrived in my inbox immediately and I was able to print and get started straight away! I’m a beginner and some of the instructions took a bit of interpreting but that’s to be expected when starting out! I don’t know if I did something wrong when adding the zip or if my body shape just didn’t suit the pattern but I (inexpertly) added some darts to the back and it fits perfectly!

The seller was great and helped me with a sizing issue I was having. Unfortunately this pattern just did not work out for my body type. It's easy to follow but the fit is a bit hard to get right.

The pattern was simple and easy to follow, for my first project I really enjoyed it!

Simple skirt pattern for beginners! I’m new to sewing and found it manageable including how to do the darts and the zipper. No doubt i will try to make another one in a different fabric!

Very cute dress/pattern! I added in a full lining and some embellishments like top stitching. Did have to tweak the sizing with some extra darts (but I usually have to do that with any pattern). And decided to leave out the front slit. If you’re a tall girlie like me I’d recommend accommodating for extra length when cutting out the fabric. I used a non stretch woven cotton for both the top and lining - so she’s snug, but fits like a glove!

I do recommend for Beginners ! The booklet is really easy to use and understand. There are only 5 parts to this dress which made it quite forgiving.

Very nice dress pattern. I adjusted for the leaves becasue I found them a little to far away on the exterior of the shoulders and feared they would keep falling on my upper arms - that often happens with similar cuts for me. Instructions are crystal clear! Thank you!

The pattern was great easy to follow and the video also helped for when I got a little hung up. My first dress attempt was eh that’s the video I have posted and I am in process of attempting with two other colors and they are coming along great

Great and easy pattern! Ended up having to take it in a bit in the sides, which was very easy to do. It did run a bit short on me so I will add length next time - keep that in mind if you are tall. :)

I’m so pleased with this dress pattern. This is my first time sewing an item of clothing and using any kind of pattern. The video tutorial was a huge help for a novice like me and the pattern was easy to print and arrange. Rosy got in touch and offered lots of support in case I got stuck at any point so the customer service is excellent.

Love this! Decently easy for beginner sewers. Unfortunately I used some vintage fabric that did unravel, but I already plan on remaking this dress for myself and several friends!

I am so happy with this pattern. I have been looking for the perfect 90s square neck dress and this is exactly what I was looking for. And the pattern is so clear and easy to follow.

I honestly really enjoyed how easy it was to follow the instructions, and the pattern/instructions were laid out very nicely, but I had to agree with the other review that said it wasn't quite the same dress as pictured unless you do some modifications to the pattern. The back bunches quite a bit and the neckline isn't as low as pictured. I had to do some major tailoring once I followed the instructions on how to put together. That said, the pattern is okay, and I'll continue to modify it, but absolute beginners may run into some issues.

Easy to follow pattern, easy to print and make!

Found the instructions a little hard to follow, also found the sizing to be off (but that could just be me!). Both issues were easy enough to resolve.

I would recommend to size down for a fitter look. Otherwise i like the pattern

The pattern is nice, however for me the armholes are to narrow and therefore the fabric pulls from the back around my chest. Also, the pattern is short so you might want to make it a little bit longer at first and then trim off the excess fabric!

I used a difficult fabric and this still came out great. Definitely check the sizing and add more to the hips if you need it (I did).
