I recently used this sewing pattern, and I must say, it was incredibly beginner-friendly! As someone who is just starting out with sewing, I found the instructions clear and easy to follow. The pattern pieces fit together perfectly, and I didn't encounter any confusing steps. One thing to note, especially for those on the shorter side like me (I'm 5 feet tall), is that I used the length measurements of a small size. I did have to adjust the length of the straps a bit to fit me better, but that was a simple modification. The overall fit was great, and I am thrilled with how my project turned out. I highly recommend this pattern to anyone looking for an easy and satisfying sewing experience. It's perfect for beginners and results in a beautiful finished product!

The dress came out super cute! It is a timeless piece in my wardrobe now. The assembly was okay as any other pattern. The instructions were very clear and simple to follow. I had some issues at the beginning with the sizing as according to the all the charts I should have used an L or XL size, but it was way too big for me. I tried making alterations to make it fit better, but eventually I gave up and used an M size which is my usual size and now it fits perfectly! But I guess the issue was more on me than in the pattern. Overall it's a great pattern!

Its really easy to make ... it didn't quite fit me that well across the shoulders. It was just a little bit too wide, so the straps weren't as stable as I hoped. HOWEVER, I will be making it again, where I will make the changes necessary to fit my shoulders a bit better. Also, length is short, so I would recommend to lengthen it a little bit more, so you have some moving space. But this dress pattern is a great style

Customer service was amazing! I love this dress and would definitely recommend. Instructions have really easy to graphics and the video is also helpful. Pattern has a bit more of a flare than the photo so I trimmed the sides a bit to get the desired silhouette. If I were to make this one again, I'd likely make the bust smaller and shorten the straps.

The dress turned out great! I added a lining to it with rosys help and it was very easy. The pattern instructions are very easy to follow and it comes together pretty quickly. The only problem I ran into was the pattern printing and assembly but I ended up figuring it out with the help of rosys group. I was in between sizes so i sized up, but it ended up being too big so i recommend sizing down.

I am a novice sewist and this was my first attempt at an article of clothing. Pattern was easy to understand and follow. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is learning as a beginner friendly project.

Very happy with this pattern, it was easy to follow and looks just like the picture. BE AWARE my bust is 41” my waist is 32” and my hips are 44” I was a XXL in this pattern. Girl I know thats not my size out in the world, so the pattern runs small. If you are bigger, this pattern might not accommodate you. The XXL was perfect because i was able to add some darts and take in some fabric to get the perfect fit.

The dress came out perfect. I had some hip issues but that is my fault for cutting it too small. Instructions are good.

Loved making this pattern!! Had a little bit of trouble when picking which size to make so had to make some on the fly adjustments but overall really fun and easy to follow

This was only my 2nd dress and I’m really pleased with how it turned out! I did find some of the descriptions confusing but overall I think the pattern was good. It definitely runs large as I’m a UK 10 and had to make the XL size.

I love the dress but I would recommend to make a mockup. According to the size chart, I cut the XL, but I ended up cutting a M for the sides of the dress and a XS for the neck line. I also made it longer and with a belt.

I found the pattern very straight forward, easy to follow, and would highly recommend for a quick beginner project.

The pattern is great; sizing was accurate and I found it quite simply to make. I used a cotton velvet but would advise any other sewers to use a fabric with more drape than structure; a silk velvet would have made the dress a lot better. Had some weird puckering on the darts—but my fault not the patterns! Just a word to the wise

Easy pattern and the seller was very responsive when I wasn't able to print on A4 (A4 is not a very common paper size in the US), she offered me a US letter printable pattern immediately!

This is the first thing I have every made with a sewing machine and it was such a simple and quick project but turned out lovely I hound the pattern easy to follow even though I have never used a pattern before

This pattern was extremely easy to follow & very quick to make! I was able to cut the pattern and dress and sew it all together in about 3 hours as an experienced beginner!

I loved making this pattern - as I’m a beginner the video and step by step breakdown was really handy for me. The outcome is of course nice as well!

I have loved this pattern! I've made 2 dresses and plan to make 2 more. I made a size Large which fits really nicely on top, and is more spacious on my hips. The pattern directions are thorough and helpful for completing the zipper and pockets.

Love this dress! I made a few mistakes and made it harder on myself because I didn't follow fabric suggestions. I used silky/satiny fabric that isnt great arouns the zipper area. I also didn't make the straps adjustable but it turned out well. Here's a photo, I haven't finished hemming it.

Gorgeous style of dress,I haven't sewn just yet but I have read over the instructions and assembled the pattern and I am already more than pleased with the instructions and information. Thank you Rosy, I will add another review once fully sewn. X

Seller was very helpful and responded quickly whenever I had a question. Pattern and instructions are clear and easy to follow for an intermediate sewer like me, and it’s a fun project I just started and should be completing by end of weekend!

I bought this pattern for my daughter. She is a beginner. we started making it but have not finished yet but so far its very easy

Overall pattern was easy to follow, I did have to alter some from originally patterns to accommodate for my size (I am an XL)

I'm 5 8" and small bust - the dress is extremely long and low cut. I made some small adjustments but it's a really nice silhouette, I'm happy with the purchase.

I haven't yet completed this design and due to the seller's poor English translation it's taking me a bit of time. Still, the photos and video sent are good, so I'm hopeful I can make this work. Know though that if you need very descriptive instructions this is not for you.

Mermaids are my thing! I love this pattern - it is easy to follow and took less than 2 hours to make! I'll be making more in other colours
