I’m a beginner to sewing, and I found this to be fairly easy! Step 12 I was a little confused, but I made it work. I found Rosyspatterbs on YouTube and found that helpful as well. Will be purchasing more from here. I did find it a wee bit short, so next time I’ll be adding some length, and for some reason it does pull at my chest the tiniest bit, but that could be on my end? It’s odd because it isn’t too tight. But it’s not enough that I’m worried. I also added tie straps to the back for my own little flare.

First time using a pattern and found this to be pretty easy to follow with the written instructions and the YouTube video. To make it more beginner friendly I opted out of installing a zipper.

I absolutely loved working with the PDF pattern for this dress! Though I didn’t follow the guide to the letter, I added my own creative flair, making the dress from a soft, vintage bedsheet and thrifted buttons. The unique charm of the fabric made it even more special, with the floral patterns dancing in different directions. Despite the mix, the result was whimsical and enchanting. The instructions were so clear and easy to follow, even with time running against me. I’m excited to create more, and I’ll definitely be back for more patterns from this Etsy shop!

I really liked this pattern. The pieces line up great, and it comes together quick. I did choose to skip the zipper and do functional buttons down the front, and I fully lined it too. Both modifications were easy to add

This is a really great pattern, super easy to follow, especially as a beginner, all of the instructions are super detailed and easy to understand.

I really enjoyed sewing this pattern. My only confusion was around the collar near the front and how that worked with the placket. I kind of just fiddled around till it sat where I wanted. But aside from that, really fast sew up and I love my new dress.
