Rachel Mint Green Maxi Dress Sewing Pattern Vintage 90s Cocktail Dress reviews

Instructions were easy to follow. I'm a beginner and with minimal help from my advanced sister I was able to make this dress efficiently. I was in between sizes so I made a mock up of the size that fit my larger measurements and tailored it to make a new pattern to make the final version of the dress. Additionally i shortened the dress to my desired length and took out the slit in the front and opted for a vent in the back. Came out great!

I would say I’m an “advanced” beginner and this was so easy to follow! I can sew most things, just rarely turns out perfect and this was absolutely adorable! Made this out of a table cloth I found at goodwill. I’m definitely gonna try again with a different type of fabric! I made a few adjustments just based on preference but the pattern was perfect! I sized up one size because I tend to use way too much seam allowance and it was just right! So thankful for the seam allowance that was already given in the pattern as well!

I’m definitely a beginner so there are things that took me some brain power to figure out but the dress turned out wonderfully. 10/10!!
